With their original concept "HEAVY POSITIVE ROCK", the five piece band SuG sounds unique compare to other visual-kei bands. Ex-actor Takeru's energetic, free-spirited and unpredictable performance is gaining popularity. Their sound mixed with rap and techno, combined with an unconventional approach to the lyrics is very original. In December 2008, SuG performed at “J-Rock Invasion” in Germany Alongside acts like Alice Nine, Screw and Kagrra. Earlier this year, the drummer Mitsuri withdrew from the group due to musical differences. SuG continues to perform as a 4-piece band.
Latest Single and Performances from SuG
October will be a busy month for SuG, as they are set to release their latest single Life©2Die in the middle of the month. SuG is also scheduled to perform at the V-Rock Festival in Japan. Along with 50+ Visual Kei, SuG will be performing alongside bands such as LM.C, Moi dix Mois and Alice Nine.
